Meanwhile, for people in the southern part of Brazil, the meat of the acai berry is preferred to be served cold with just the right amount of granola. As acai berry is known to help give people an energy boost, it was soon developed into other types of snacks as well like as ice cream, sorbets, yogurt, health drinks, and even as liqueur.

So aside from being a favorite source of energy, what are the other benefits that people are able to gain from the acai berry? Well this miracle fruit is definitely a great way to help people slim down – just take a look at all those gorgeous Brazilian women. As the acai berry contains a lot of anti-oxidants, in fact, it actually contains about 50 antioxidants. However, make sure to choose the acai berry with the dark purple skin as this is the one which contains the most antioxidants compared to the other types of acai berry. Studies show that intake of acai berry can actually help one to improve his or her cholesterol levels as well as improve antioxidant activity in the body. So not only will you be free from any illnesses as the acai berry will help you flush out toxins from your body, this fruit is also a great source of fiber and can help you lose weight faster by showing some improvement on your metabolism.
