Some people may think dressing their Chihuahua up in clothes is just silly or even cruel. However, putting clothes on them will give them extra warmth and protection during those chilly nights. Besides, don't Chihuahuas just look too cute in clothes? If you are new to choosing clothes for your Chihuahua, you might seem a little bit lost. I mean, how are you supposed to know what clothes to get for a dog? Well, the best part of dressing up your Chihuahua is that there is no right or wrong choice. It's all a matter of what your taste is. Here's a suggestion though; try to match the clothes with your Chihuahuas attitude or personality. If you have a little princess Chihuahua, you could get her something pink, like a cute pink dress. If you have a tough, boy Chihuahua, you could get a black shirt with a skull and crossbones on it. The sky is the limit! There's a lot of different types of clothes one can find for their Chihuahua. T-shirts are the most common, and are great for all climates and conditions. They are lightweight, versatile, and come in many different styles, colors, and designs. You can't go wrong with the t-shirt. If you are looking for something a bit thicker and warmer, consider getting your Chihuahua a nice sweater. It help him stay warm during the winter and in the colder climates. However, sweaters are not a good choice for hot summer days. This might sound like a new concept to some people, but dresses are now a popular choice for Chihuahuas. Most of them are made to easily slip on and off, and there's not much else that can make your Chihuahua look as cute a dress can. Another newcomer to the Chihuahua clothing scene is the hoodie. Just like hoodies for us people, it it basically a sweater with a built-in cap used to cover their head and keep it warm. The hoodie is great for small Chihuahuas who get cold ears easily. These are the most popular clothes choices for Chihuahuas. Take some time to decide which ones right for your Chihuahua. Of course nowadays you can find just about any type of clothes, so don't be limited to these choices. Here's a tip for dressing up your Chihuahua; use treats! Chihuahuas, just like all other canines, love treats. Giving them a treat each time you want to dress them up will train them that clothes are a good thing.
